What is Self-Management?

Self-Management is the organizational philosophy represented by individuals freely and
autonomously performing the traditional functions of management (planning, organizing,
coordinating, staffing, directing, controlling) without mechanistic hierarchy or arbitrary,
unilateral command authority over others.
